Hello! My name is Jen and I’ve been a Type 1
Juvenile Diabetic for over 18 years. I’ve recently started to
explore routes of healing and progress through a raw vegan
lifestyle. After only two weeks of consuming a 95-99% raw vegan
diet, I have seen my insulin needs decrease by 85 percent. I
am no longer fatigued, and have gained enormous amounts of
energy. I feel happier, cleaner, and have obtained an overall
sense of health, wellness, and clarity. I’m inspired to share my
journey so that I may help inspire and support others in a similar
situation. Please feel free to email me or leave a
comment!

Hi, I’m a 40 year vegetarian, dx with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago. Read Dr. Bernstein and immediately became a low carb lacto ova vegetarian, lost 40 lbs and got my a1c down from 11 to 5.4 today. See my notes and join in on my facebook group to exchange recipes and ideas.
FYI, I used to be vegan like, but am now convinced that fermented dairy from organic raw milk, fish oil is essential for the EPA’s to bring down inflammation and egg protein is necessary to make up for the lack of animal proteins… I appreciate you also sharing your discoveries… there’s much to learn from each other!
